Lord Nataraja Sculpture, Elephanta Caves

Written by Tamil Poet suggests that Cosmos is itself Lord's theatre & Lord himself is actor & audience. 

Idea behind dance of Lord Shiva also indicates the manifestation of primal rhythmic energy, According to Great scholar Coomaraswamy, "Shiva’s dance relates to its cosmic significance, symbolizing the creation, maintenance and destruction of the universe." This idea of pulsating process of Creation of Universe resonates with modern Quantum Physics that says, subatomic particles dances to the tune of energy & it is basis of existence of universe. And it is sanctioned by Scientists as they installed statue of Lord Nataraja at the CERN Laboratory. 

Statues of lord Nataraja, a form of Dancing shiva can be found across India. Statue found at Elephanta is still sublime though it is in ruined condition. Statue may not have survived its original grandeur & became victim of wrath of time but the deep philosophical thinking embedded in it is, Eternal.
